A gregarious person with a distinct social outlook and lofty ideals, Thiru. C. Jayakumar carries with ease and elan not only the legacy of his father Thiru. K. Chinnaswamy’s illustrious career as lawyer but also takes the baton of being at the helm of the affairs of the Vellalar Educational Trust as the President. Having made his stamp and mark as a legal practitioner in the city of Erode, he is widely renowned for his prudent and ethically grounded approach in the court of law. Forthright in word and upright in deed, there is no duality between his thought and action but only absolute integrity. Educating and empowering the first and the consecutive generations of women in and around the city is both a passion and vision for him. Affable and accessible, Thiru. Jayakumar is a humanist in the best sense of the word and being in a privileged space, he always wishes to give back to the society and incessantly works towards it.
